Preferred Construction Inc. was founded in 1980 by Gary D. Williams with a commitment to quality workmanship and honest service.
In 2010, his son Nick Williams joined the company full-time and helped expand the business into Preferred Asphalt Services. Today, Nick serves as President of both companies, continuing the family tradition of excellence with third-generation employees helping serve our customers.

To assure our customers the longest life of an asphalt paved surface, Preferred Construction offers complete seal coating services. Seal coating is a method of preserving asphalt paving by applying a thin coat of surface tar material over the previously applied asphalt paved surface. Seal coating rejuvenates, protects and extends the life the surface of any new or old asphalt surface.
Because seal coating is applied to existing surfaces, it can be applied by hand on smaller areas or by machine on larger projects. We provide seal coating services 7 days a week to fit with our customers schedules and minimize inconvenience. We have completed many seal coating projects on Sundays as commercial and industrial customers like to minimizing business disruption.
Not only does seal coating restore the clean dark black appearance to asphalt but, it fills in holes from displaced rocks and cracks in the surface preventing further surface degradation and extending the life of the asphalt paving.

Crack Filling
Constant exposure to weather is pavement’s greatest enemy.
Crack sealing from Preferred Constructions will prevent the deterioration of the subbase pavement from infiltration of water and debris. The thorough cleaning of affected areas and the application of crack sealant will prevent further erosion of the surface and damage to the structural support of the pavement. Crack sealing material is designed to expand and shrink allowing for year-round performance. By sealing cracks early you can extend the life of your pavement considerably and prevent more costly repairs.

Tennis/Pickleball Courts
Preferred Construction Inc. also specializes in tennis court/hard court surface coatings. We use the Sportsmaster system. This system is a durable, fade a wear resistant, all-weather tennis and athletic surface which is DES certified quality. This is the only acrylic surface made by an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company in the United States. Sportsmaster ColorCoat is a very versatile application for tennis, basketball, pickleball, multi-sport, and play courts. This is an environmentally safe product, has a wide variety of long lasting colors, and has had a superior reputation for over 75 years. Thermoplastic
Preferred Construction also offers Thermoplastic striping. The advantages of Thermoplastic striping are three fold. Thermoplastic is extremely durable and has better visibility due to the glass beads in application which provides optimal reflectivity. It is also long lasting due to it's unique blend of materials that join a lasting bond with the asphalt.
